Recently named a CBA Resident Fellow at New York University. Recipient of a New Music USA Project Grant and The Juilliard Career Advancement Fellowship. Composer for concert, dance, film, television, and new media. Holds a Bachelor and Master of Music degree in composition from The Juilliard School, danced professionally for the New York City Ballet, studied dance at The School of American Ballet.
Most recent collaborations include An Evening Honoring Jessye Norman at National Sawdust and Echo & Narcissus at BAM (recipient of a New Music USA Project Grant). Has collaborated on original scores for the New York Choreographic Institute, the Pacific Northwest Ballet School, and the New York City Ballet.
Concert works have been performed at Alice Tully Hall (NYC), Davies Symphony Hall (San Francisco, CA), and premiered by pianists Stephen Gosling, Steven Beck, Cory Smythe, Robert Fleitz, and three-time Grammy Award-winning violinist Hilary Hahn. Music for filmmakers and videographers includes works for PBS documentaries, iPad/iPhone applications, Cartier, New York City Ballet, Squarespace, Mastercard, Bloomberg, and others. More
